A Sondar.i Sondar.i will participate on May 23rd in SIMPMET – Metrology Symposium 2018, which will be held in Auditorium E of the Instituto Superior de Engenharia do Porto (ISEP)

SIMPMET is organized by the Specialization in Metrology of the Order of Engineers in partnership with the Portuguese Electrotechnical Institute (IEP), the Porto Higher Institute of Engineering (ISEP), the Technological Support Center for the Metalworking Industry (CATIM) and the Hospital Center of S. João, and is aimed at all those who professionally need to carry out measurements, tests and inspections.

The themes that frame this 6th edition of SIMPMET are "New challenges for Metrology in the face of Industry 4.0”, and “Metrology and electric mobility”.

A representação da Sondar.i 's representation at this symposium includes a presentation on the global environmental impacts of electric vehicles, from their manufacture to the end of their life, particularly of batteries, including the impacts associated with the production of the energy needed to charge them.
